American Antiques, Americana, Happy Memorial Day!

by 1 May 30, 2016

AnAntiquesPINT American Antiques have a unique history.  In Los Angeles, there's a local shop called East Meets West that's been around for several decades.  They carry a beautiful variety of Antique American Quilts, Flags and Furniture.  I like to incorporate different antique and vintage pieces sparingly.  It's a nice way of adding depth and character to an interior.  You don't have to embrace Martha Stewart's Style to enjoy American Antiques.  I think they work great in Industrial style Loft spaces.  Nothing cooler than a really old flag sitting in a frame or shadow box.  The Flag shown above is from an online store called Jeff R. Bridgman American Antiques.  The Flag is a very rare Pre-Civil War Flag with 30 stars.  The 30th state, Wisconsin, joined the Union on May 29th 1848. If you need help with your residence or business, give us a shout.  You can contact us through our online form at City of Z Design, Consultations or shoot us an email at Have a safe and Happy Memorial Day.  Don't forget to pay tribute to all of the men and women who died for our Country!
